What's the difference between buying a male/female?
print icon

In Photo Finishâ„¢ LIVE both sexes are competitive racers, the difference in purchasing a male versus a female horse is the breeding process.

The simple difference is that when females breed, the owner of the female keeps the foal - when males breed they get a stud fee. This means that if you are looking to expand your stable through breeding you will need a female.

Note: Females (fillies/mares) can breed once per season while males can breed up to 35 times.
